Ok, so the time is growing short to prepare for this trip, and we are both pretty much ready to go....or so we think. Getting up a 4 AM is not going to be our favorite thing to do. We touchdown in Phoenix at 10:30, and plan on making a mad dash over to Phoenix Muni to catch the first game, the Cubs (ss) at the A's. at 1 PM. Lucky for us that the Ballpark is very close to Sky Harbor (and the Phoenix Zoo too!). T-ball Tiny is picking the A's to win in a blowout. I mean how much of a fight can a team put up with only a split squad (games when one team is scheduled for two games in one day, so the team splits into two squads and each squad plays in each of the games)? This is the first of 2 split-squad teams we will see. We tried to avoid seeing split-squad games - we want to see the whole team! Splits are for Bananas anyway!
